Kinsale Community School is based in the town of Kinsale, Co. Cork, Ireland. It caters for 880 students aged 12–18 with over 70 staff and the principal is currently Mr. Fergal McCarthy. The school has a short but rich history becoming a leader in academics, sports, entrepreneurship and community work. ==History, ethos and philosophy== Kinsale Community School officially began on August 1, 1996, following the amalgamation of Our Lady of the Rosary Secondary School and Kinsale Vocational School. It embodies the best traditions of both these schools and much, much more. The school motto, "Omnes Communiter Discendo" adopted by the first Board of Management, states that we are "All Together in Learning" and stresses our commitment to the education of all the students in our care. Kinsale Community School aims to cater for the curricular, personal and physical needs of each individual student, in a safe and caring environment. We try to create a positive atmosphere, where the emphasis is on personal achievement, moral development and character formation. All students are encouraged to find their own strengths in order to grow into self-confident and responsible adults. With a thoroughly comprehensive range of subjects, we believe all our students can learn both academic and practical skills and from this will have a sense of personal fulfilment. A strong, positive Code of Discipline helps to engender self-respect, by teaching respect for people and property. With a firmly established programme of pastoral care, we seek also to enhance the spiritual aspects of the lives of our students through a programme of religious and moral instruction in keeping with family traditions. 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Kinsale Community School」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
